Sculptural presence meets raw earthiness. The Rift Coffee Table pairs a hand-chiseled travertine basin top with notched architectural timber legs, delivering an organic modern focal point for refined indoor living rooms or covered outdoor lounges.
Starting from $ 419
Defined by tectonic presence and handcrafted artistry, the Rift Coffee Table transforms raw materials into a functional sculptural centerpiece. Its oblong silhouette features a deeply carved, rippled stone top that mimics wind-sculpted sand dunes and natural riverbeds, bordered by a smooth, rounded edge. Cradling the stone surface are thick, architectural timber supports crafted with exposed bridle joinery, creating a grounding tension between solid wood grain and mineral texture.
Whether styled as an anchor in a minimalist living room or positioned on a covered Mediterranean terrace, the Rift Coffee Table brings tactile depth and wabi-sabi elegance to open spaces.
Hand-Chiseled Stone Basin: Carved from natural stone with a scooped, corrugated trough that catches natural light and adds organic movement to the room.
Tectonic Interlocking Joinery: Structural timber bases are notched directly into the stone slab, providing absolute stability without visible hardware.
Organic Capsule Silhouette: Soft, pill-shaped contours contrast the heavy brutalist materials, ensuring smooth circulation in high-traffic seating arrangements.
Stand-Alone or Nesting Arrangement: Serves as a standalone statement coffee table or pairs seamlessly with its companion low bench for layered nesting functionality.
Indoor & Covered Outdoor Living: Finished with protective sealants suitable for climate-controlled interiors, sunrooms, and covered outdoor patios.
Display & Everyday Utility: The perimeter border offers a stable level surface for drinks and trays, while the textured center cradles art books, decorative ceramics, and floral vessels.
Tabletop: Natural honed travertine/limestone with hand-tooled relief surface.
Base: Solid hardwood finished in an organic, low-sheen protective stain.
Care Instructions: Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. Use natural stone cleaners for periodic maintenance; avoid harsh acidic chemicals. Immediate blotting recommended for spills.
